ELITE Summer Gym

During the season, players are learning skills, maintaining their fitness level, and applying lessons learned in practice in game scenarios.  In the off-season players need to maximize their time in the gym and get bigger, stronger, and faster.  We also want to minimize "burnout".  So for June - July the Moose will be spending 4 days a week in the gym, supervised by our Strength & Conditioning staff at Pursuit Performance.  Players will spend 1hr heavy lifting and 30mins playing a random sport.  This type of off-season structure will allow for maximum gains, which will be seen on the ice next season, as well as giving players a well deserved break from the rink.
